It’s easy to be enthusiastic about painting our dynamic landscapes. I draw, create with color, texture with brush work, build light with oil paint; all to shape an impression of place. I work to express and experience in time; a conversation to remember and revisit.

My goal is to create paintings that connect the viewer with the quiet moments in Nature. 

​Growing up in an art-centered family informed my passion for painting from an early age. Following my undergraduate degree, I received training at Michael Coyle Atelier in Minnesota. Since moving to the Coachella Valley in Southern California I have studied with Terry Masters, Elaine Mathews and Bruce Webber in Palm Springs CA. Painting is not only a challenge but also a great deal of fun.
